Approach
This is the emotional story of Karl Halton, who was involved in a severe motorbike accident when a car pulled out in front of him on his way home from work.
The North West Air Ambulance charity treated Karl at the scene before airlifting him to Aintree Hospital, where Karl was treated for major trauma injuries.
To bring this story to life, we recorded emotional interviews with Karl and his wife, Kath. We used a 2 x camera set up with prime lenses for more intimacy. We also filmed reconstruction footage and added sound effects to dramatise the telling of the story. The result is an honest and emotive video that captures Karls story and his gratefulness to the North West Air Ambulance Charity.
